The 2011 Fusion Z is a blend of Bordeaux varieties aged in new and used oak for 12 months. The nose is very ripe and shows a touch of volatility that seems to subside allowing the wine to aerate. The palate is smooth and fleshy on the entry with salted licorice on the entry. It is well-balanced with a powerful, meaty finish and a balsamic aftertaste. Drink now-2015.
Wine Maker Notes
