The wine presents aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, black pepper with notes of rose petal and violet. Minerally acidity, espresso coffee and sage flavor merge with chewy tannins on the big, soft finish.
(100% Tinto de Toro). Grapes harvested from 50+ year old vines were trodden by foot and fermented with native yeasts in large upright oak fermentation vats. The wine was aged for 18 months in new and seasoned oak barriques and foudres.
