Vietti Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne

This ruby colored wine presents ripe red cherry aromas and vanilla. On the palate it shows bright acidity, soft tannins with good integration of oak.

The grapes are selected from young vines, approximately 10 years old, located in Agliano d’Asti. The must fermented in stainless steel tanks for 14 days, after which the wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels or Slavonian oak casks and then transferred to stainless steel tanks for two months until bottling.

Geographical location of the vineyard: Bussia of Monforte d`Alba.Grape from which it is produced: Barbera.Aging: six months in Slavonian oak and six months in bottle.Aging: 4 - 8 years potential. For special vintages like `85 up 10 years.Organoleptic characteristics:Color: intense ruby red, with aging it takes on brilliant and elegant garnet reflections.Bouquet: intense, tends to complex aroma, warm and full.Taste: dry, tasty and full, rich body.Gastronomy: great with all meats, poultry and game; excellent with some international dishes.
