The wine delivers quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc aromas and flavors with lovely hints of cream on the edges on the palate. Nuanced notes of ripe citrus, tropical fruit and green apple grapefruit, lemon zest, guava and golden delicious apple are supported by a bracing, yet balanced minerality.
Estate Sauvignon Blanc was low cropped and hand-picked. Eighty percent of the juice is inoculated with cultured yeast and the remaining 20% is allowed to ferment naturally using indigenous yeasts. After fermentation is complete the tanks are left to settle on its lees for 2-3 months.
