The P3 (Pagos Tres or “Parcel 3”) vineyard is located on the hillside of the Dominio de Tares estate in the Bierzo region. These bush vines are trained using the gobelet system at a density of 3000 vines/hectare in mostly clayey and calcareous soil with components of gravel and slate. Although the vineyards are not certified organic, Dominio de Tares does all it can to respect the environment in its viticultural practices. The vines in the P.3 vineyard are 80 to 100 years old.

An ideal tapas wine, best when served with aged cheeses and cured meats.
