Deep violet-purple color to the rim, with good concentration of color and clarity. Aromas of ripe blueberries, boysenberry, and milk chocolate. Juicy, high-octane wine on the palate revealing black fruit with silky tannins. The alcohol is on the high side but melds into the wine with aeration. The mid-palate will give off a little medicinal character due to the lush fruit and higher alcohol tones but really a non-issuse. The finish is completely dry and pleasing with notes of lingering bosyenberry and blueberries.
