Wine Maker Notes
We sourced our Pinot Noir from the cool, windswept regions this varietal likes best. From Mendocino to Monterey, we chose coastal vineyards that ripen grapes to vibrant black cherry character and bring out the hints of dried sage this wine reveals under the right conditions. Aging in both French and American oak contributed subtle notes of vanilla, and a dose of Syrah added an accent of pepper. No one can resist a darn Goode Pinot—try this one with coastal fare like cedar plank salmon or creamy shrimp pasta.
