(132º) The third release from the 1999 Collectors Whiskey series was distilled from 100% European Two-Row Barley grown and malted in British Columbia, Canada. In 1999, Marko Karakasevic took 20,000 gallons craft pilsner beer and distilled it down into whiskey. The whiskey was aged for eight years in new American oak with a #3 “Gator Skin char, and an additional eight years in neutral vessels. It was bottled unfiltered at cask strength.
