90 Point Wine Advocate:The 2012 Riesling Highness shows off fragrant notes of apple blossom, pink grapefruit and lemon zest with hints of lime leaves and coriander seed. Light to medium-bodied, it is dry with plenty of ripe, expressive Riesling flavor that displays slight tropical fruit exuberance and a crisp acid line. It finishes long.
Wine Maker Notes
The Eden Valley skirts the eastern slopes of the Barossa Ranges, and is known for crisp floral Rieslings. Sitting slightly higher than the warmer Barossa Valley, the two sub-regions make up the Barossa, and give local winemakers more variety and interest in their production of outstanding wines.
The wine is traditional in style with its ripe lemon fruit flavours and good length.
