I love this wine, this is my 2nd time ordering 6 bottles just to have as a every day wine at home. Its smooth, tastes great, and love the message, that some of the proceeds gets donated back to military charities.
I read the reviews and decided to purchase 6 bottles. I am not loving this Chardonnay. It had a plastic aftertaste and unlike the other consumers of this wine, I didn't enjoy the light delicate flavor of Chardonnay. I had to dilute it with lemon seltzer and a wedge of lemon and ice cubes just to drink it. Had it with a light lemony cod fish and rice. Should have gone well. It ruined the flavor of the dinner. Not going to order this again.
As another reviewer said, it's a tasty everyday drinking wine. It's not sweet nor too oaky - very smooth.
I've bought this wine by the case from you for quite a while after seeing it on your website.I'd never heard of it before and thought I would try it. It's a great everyday drinking wine at a good price. After serving it to several friends they, too, have begun drinking it.
I just bought my second case. All who taste it like its smoothness. Very price worthy!
I enjoyed this chardonnay and I was surprised as I have not heard of this wine. It was a very smooth and I do not like a fruity wine. I will purchase again.
This 2012 Chardonnay opens with delicate aromas of citrus blossom, honeydew melon, pear, flint and toasted almonds. The entry is silky with pear and citrus flavors. Refreshing acidity leads to a juicy finish, layered with toasted oak. After relatively normal winter, the 2012 growing season started out with a wet and cool spring. The rains and low temperatures extended the time between bud break and bloom. This initial delay in vine development, coupled with a mild summer, pushed the Chardonnay harvest well into September. The threat of rain in October accelerated harvesting. The cool season allowed of great flavor development at lower sugars.
