Menage A Trois Chardonnay 2012 750ml

Menage A Trois Chardonnay

Each appellation partner in our 2012 Ménage à Trois Chardonnay contributes a distinctive quality to the finished blend: crisp, lemon and lime aromas from Monterey; vibrant, tropical fruit flavors from Santa Barbara; and beautiful structure from Mendocino. The resulting Chardonnay is full-bodied on the palate, with strong varietal fruit characters.

Although it’s a tad risqué, Ménage à Trois 2012 Chardonnay has an impeccable, California coastal pedigree: 60% of the grapes are from Monterey County, 31% from Santa Barbara County and 9% from Mendocino County. To enhance its delicious fruity flavors, we fermented the wine with a special French yeast (but of course!), induced partial malolactic fermentation, and coupled the creamy result with French and American oak, thus delighting Chardonnay hedonists everywhere.
