Beringer White Merlot

Our California Collection wines are carefully hand-crafted to deliver the outstanding quality and rich flavors. This collection offers a wonderful array of smooth and refreshing wines with a youthful exuberance that is appealing to anyone looking for an easy-drinking wine. The resulting wine is a vibrant blend of fresh berry and zesty orange peel flavors, with a hint of nutmeg spice.

To achieve the perfect color in their White Merlot, Beringer’s winemakingteam gently destems and presses the Merlot grapes, leaving the redskins in contact with the juice for approximately three hours. As soon asthe desired soft, red-purple hue is achieved, the juice is removed. Slow, cool fermentations follow to retain the bright acidity, fresh melon andcitrus flavors. The resulting wine is a vibrant blend of fresh berry andzesty orange peel flavors, with a hint of nutmeg spice.
