Marca Negra Mezcal Tepeztate

Another fantastic Marca Negra, this time from San Luis del Rio, Tlacolula, Oaxaca. Made with wild grown Agave Marmorata it exhibits fantastic savoury and fruity smoke notes, both slightly vegetal and brightly vibrant. A terrific mezcal.
Sweet, damp earth entry showing mild smoked chipotle and fresh asparagus. Notes of lemon peel and pomegranate that give way to a medium-strength finish of clove and white pepper.abv 47.3%
