Schloss Saarstein Riesling Spatlese 2014 750ml

Schloss Saarstein Riesling Spatlese

Traditional Saar Riesling with naturally fruity sweetness ranging from Kabinett wines to Trockenbeerenauslese and Eiswein wines.

Each winegrowing region has its own classics. In the Saar region these are the Riesling wines with their natural residual sweetness which, due to their low alcohol content, delicate fruitiness and acidity, appear playful and elegant. While the smooth Kabinett wines, the juicy Spa¨tlese and the opulent Auslese wines can mature for decades, they are also incredibly seductive when drunk young.

The autumn mist rising above the Saar River makes it possible to harvest the elegantly sweet specialties that can easily last for a lifetime. From the smallest of yields and after a particularly time-consuming selection, rare and treasured wines are produced that are appreciated all over the world and fetch top prices at VDP auctions.
