Grandiose, fruitful Riesling Spätlese! The Saar is also known for its sweetest Rieslings. The Riesling is like no other grape variety able to transport not only terroir, but also the scent and taste of the grapes optimally. It is fascinating to see what is reflected in the scents and flavors in the small berries. Apples, pears, peaches, limes, but also exotic fragrances like mango, passion fruit, pineapple or papaya. These fruity aromas embedded in the fascinating play of ripe, invigorating acidity, fresh, juicy fruit and discreetly accompanying residual sweetness are only really to be found in Riesling.
