Etereo is the Italian word for "ethereal," signifying something highly refined, delicate, out of this world, and heavenly. Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo. Aromas are rich, complex, earthy, hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, roses. Taste is ripe red fruit, dark plum, spice, long finish, with an incredible delicate finish. Sand and chalk soils in the Monforte d'Alba region of Barolo. Temperature controlled fermentation. Aged for 30 months in French oak barrels (100% new) and bottle aged for 6-8 months before release.

We Invest Directly in Independent Winemakers. This gives them the time and money to do what they love. Through Oriel, these passionate folks get discovered and then their superlative-worthy products get appreciated by our members. Some makers are up and coming but some are celebrated names behind many of the greatest wines on earth - from Petrus to Penfold's Grange.

I should have known that the price was too good to be true. This is absolutely undrinkable. It smells like Spanish brandy, and actually hurt my stomach. I had a half of glass and threw our the rest of the bottle.
