I've had two so far, and both were above average, in general, and way above average for the price, so I ordered two more on my next order. So far, so good, and well worth the price: mature, well-balanced, and a nice pruny, smokey finish.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement, absolutely the most awful wine I've ever purchased - no body, no finish and full of sedement. I hate to think that anyone would have paid full price for this wine because it isn't worth the sales price at half price. WC did offer to send a return label and refund my money however, I gave it to someone who will drink anything.
This wine was the worst bottle I have ever purchased from Wine Chateau. If this truly is a DOCG Chianti, it exhibits none of the taste qualioties of a Chianti, and in fact, I returned it to the seller for a refund.
Old traditional vinification method: completely mature grapes are harvested from vineyards and processed in membrane presses. Soft presses, fermentation at controlled temperatures and prolonged maceration with the skins.
Delicious partner to spicy pasta dishes. Ideal with roasts, steaks and grilled veal. Serve at room temperature.
