Wine Maker Notes
The 2007 growing season in the Russian River Valleywas about as idyllic as it gets. After the serious frosts of 2008, the vines and winemakers were ready for an easy harvest, and they got it. A mild spring was followed by a mild summer and just the perfect amount of heat in the fall to fully ripen the grapes. This wine was crafted by hand, starting with harvest and running right up to the bottling. We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor of love for Pinot Noir.
This Pinot Noir is exceptional when paired with duck confit, or braised short ribs. If you prefer seafood, try the 2007 Kings Ransom Pinot Noir with a hearty Cioppino style fisherman’s stew.
