Tasting notes

Color : Deep purple red. Aroma : Rich fragrances of dried fruit, dark cherries; wood, smoke and vanilla notes. Palate: Pronounced character and well-structured by soft, mature tannins. Lingering finish.

Wine maker notes

Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats and French oak vats. Long post-fermentation maceration period. Seventy-five percent of the mixture was aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months.

Pairs well with a holiday duck or goose, cheese appetizers and rich chocolate desserts.
