Almost transparent with light green hues at the rim. Lemon citrus, spice and herb character on the nose and palate. The Federspiel level is synonymous with a light and racy profile.

| 100% Riesling. Fermented until natural conclusion. No chaptalization allowed. Minimum must weight of 83 degrees Ochsle (17 degrees KMW) and maximum alcohol 12%. "Federspiel" is one of three Wachau specific quality designations for dry white wine: Steinfeder (light, racy), Federspiel (elegant, medium body), and Smaragd (ripe, full-bodied). |
