Groth Cabernet Sauvignon

Yeah, really confusing. I don't think I would pay $44 for a SB and I doubt Groth would sell their CS for that...

Don Rodolfo Cabernet Sauvignon Vina Cornejo Costas High Altitude Vineyards

Have not tasted this wine but I do have the 2012 Pinot Noir from this producer for about $1 more which I think is excellent at that price. Hard for me to believe the Cab is that much worse...

No question that this is a very good wine for LT $8! However, there are a couple of Pinots from the Cote d'Or that I get at my local wine shop for $2 more that are a bit better. If I were buying several cases for my daughter's wedding reception, this wine would be perfect, but for my own use I think I'll pay the extra $2. JRH

Bodega El Angosto Angosto Tinto Red Blend

Sorry to hear about the disappointment. I own this product and think it would fall into the "good to excellent" range - certainly worth this price. 3 stars! -JRH

Chateau Quinault L'Enclos St. Emilion Grand Cru

This is a very good to excellent, fruit-forward Bordeaux. Lite tannins with a bit of pepper. Should last for several years and maybe improve a bit. It also has an unmistakable odor and taste of new leather, which may turn some people off. I happen to like it, but highly recommend that the wine be double-decanted and aired a couple hours before first pour. I would rate it 90-91. 93 seems a bit high IMHO.
