Rhiannon Red Wine Proprietor's Blends

There are virtually no reviews or ratings to be had on this wine. None that I can find. Can anyone find any reviews on it at all?

Colores del Sol Malbec Reserva

I wasn't able to get too exited about this Malbec even at $7.97 a bottle. Certainly affordable but very unmemorable. Blueberry jam with medicine on the palate and an unpleasant finish, and not up to the quality standard of many other wines in this price point.

Spanish Quarter Cabernet-Tempranillo

I served this wine recently at a party, along with three other reds I liked. This was the one wine people singled out and raved about. I agree with others on here. This tastes like a much more expensive wine. I highly recommend it.

I served this with several other wines at a party and this was the one wine that people raved about. It's a great buy.

Domaine de L'Olivier Chardonnay Vin de Pays DOC

Not a chard at all by American definitions. Much more of what we consider to be a Burgundy. I like this for an appetizer wine or aperitif wine. It’s very clean tasting and acidic.

Second time I ordered a case

Spanish Quarter Cabernet-Tempranillo

Highly recommend this wine. A great value. Lots of fruit, nose of cherries and blackberries. Smooth and silky slightly oaky finish. The wine tastes like it should be far more expensive than it really is.

St. Francis Red Splash

This wine was first recommended to me by a sommelier at a very fine restaurant in Chicago. After ordering a bottle, I immediately had to get a case for myself. My guess is that you got an OLD case. I've noticed that when Wine Chateau sells it at this price, the vintage is old, and probably has not been stored correctly. The wine generally wholesales for around $14 - $15 so at this price (under $10)I'd be skeptical. Probably the wine has been sitting in a warehouse and its going bad so they are trying to unload it.
