Enjoy it while you can
Barenjager is great for sore throat due to allergies or a cold. Honey is much easier on your GI tract than high fructose corn syrup. I don't know if honey retains its probiotics when made into a liquer, but I do know it tastes wonderful, doesn't give me sugar jitters, and is good with ice and ginger ale. I have it in hot tea and it keeps a bad cough from ripping my throat up. One grandmother used to mix it with butter (in a food processor) and she'd use it in between layers of cake while having chocolate frosting on the exterior... it was not horrifyingly sweet, although it sounds like it might be.
Barenjager
If you are looking for an enhancement to your honey cocktails (Gold Rush, Bees Knees), then try this Liqueur. It brings out the taste of the honey and takes the drink to a higher level. I find using 2 cups of honey to 1 cup of water, to make the simple syrup, a little to expensive. By using the 1 to 2oz of Barenjager with 2 Table spoons of honey I get a much more rounded drink and it does not cost nearly as much.
Great products...great prices...great service!!
Bought a bottle of Bärenjäger, a bottle of 18yo Glenmorangie, and a bottle of Glenmorangie Signet for the holidays. Prices were excellent on everything purchased, products extremely well packaged, and the shipping very fast. Very pleased with my experience and have been telling everyone in our wine club and our other friends about Wine Chateau. An Internet GEM!!
