The word BIN is an Australian term to describe quality stocks of wine kept in a particular part of the barrel cellar. These stocks were stored in special areas in the wine cellars of homes, wineries, and pubs that were best known as the "wine bin." This wine is deep red with a purple hue. The wine boasts a fruity aroma with a whiff of oak and a rich balanced flavor. Aged for 6 months in used two year old French oak barrels.
This wine is made entirely of Merlot grapes from vineyards in the Gilboa and Golan Heights. The combination of Merlot grapes harvested when moderately ripe and fresh, together with a brief aging process results in a drink-now wine with lovely complexity.
