The relatively pale yellow color is intact and still has come green nuances. The aroma is austere, a bit closed and certainly not graceful, with its notes of silica, suffused balsamic sensations and distinct scents of almonds. The mouthfeel is very taut, mineral and severe. A wine that still has a long life ahead of it.
This vintage of Bonneau du Martray is lighter and less intense than usual but there is great finesse and lovely, detailed flavors. Medium bodied, creamy and round on the mid palate with a lingering finish.
