The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows exactly why Paso Robles is the ideal region for this variety. The wine is rich and full flavored with masses of dark berry fruit and abundant oak. There are hints of tobacco and cedar on the nose with supporting blackcurrant aromas. The depth of fruit is amazing and the wonderful length of flavor is enhanced by both bright acidity and firm, ripe tannins.
This wine is robust and pairs best with foods of similar weight. Careful cellaring will be well rewarded.
