This old-vines plot, planted in 1957, yields an earthy, rustic style of wine, yet one with serious notes of complexity. Dense wild-berry, cherry and blueberry notes, with hints of violet and crushed herbs, saturate the aromas and persistent flavors. Drinks well for five or more years.
Tasting: It reveals on the nose a scent of cassis and raspberry. Richness and flexibility in the mouth characterizes it with a nice balance. An airy wine with aromas of fresh fruits and spices.
Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
