Color is intense ruby red color with bouquet of harmonious fragrance and taste of berries, dog rose and spices. Flavor is full-bodied and persistent with fruity and toasted touch. Today Veneto is among the first Italian wine-producing regions in the national classification of the quantity but, it is correct to underline, also of the quality. In the province of Verona, the wine-growing is in maximum part highly specialized. The 2015 Ca’ de’ Rocchi 'Dugal' is composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon / 30% Merlot and was aged in 5-2 hectoliter barrels for 6-8 months. This displays a dark, inky color and offers aromas of blackberries, cherries, smoldering tobacco, grilled herbs, balsam and hints of spring floral. On the palate this is full-bodied, plush and well structured with nicely polished tannins which expand onto the finish. Overall, this is a forward and expressive blend, which is primed for early approach-ability and should also continue to evolve over the next few years.
