With the WineChateau.com 365 day return policy, there are no special catches or exceptions. All we ask is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, unopened, and in the same condition you received them.

    • You can return your purchase for up to 365 days from the purchase date.

    • Products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging.

    • Return shipping is absolutely FREE.

    • You will be provided with a pre-paid FedEx domestic label to return the purchase to us.

  • Once your return is received and inspected by the fulfillment centers (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Winemaking - Maceration on the skins: Between 20 and 30 days, with first a few days of cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation: in wooden casks of 50 hl (only indigenous yeast) and concrete tanks. Two pumping-over for about 9-12 days, then once a day for 4 to 7 days, then once every two days for a very short time. Malolactic fermentation: mostly in tanks and some in barrels.Ageing - All the different plots of wineyard and the different varietals, vinified separately, are going after the malo into barrels of different sizes and ages, according to their own characteristics. The mean of aging time is about 16 months into barres, but it can go from 11 months for the most delicate grapes (es. Alicante) until 20 months for the most powerful (es. Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon). The blend is made only when every single plots have completed there own aging in wood.Vintage 2009 - In 2009, the beginning of the growing season was marked by a very rainy month of April.Then around the flowering period and until the end of June the weather was dry, allowing a very good fruit set. The summer was hot with episodes of rain with thunderstorms and the month of August was very hot compared to the seasonal average. But then in early September, the weather went cooler, allowing the other varietials to ripe more slowly with high temperature variations between day and night.Mainly Cabernet Franc (25%), Merlot (21%) , Sangiovese (19%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (18%). In smaller percentage ther is Petit Verdot (8%), Syrah (6%) and Alicante (3%).
