A Chardonnay made from Upper Galilee vineyards. Part of this wine was barrel fermented and aged in oak barrels for 6 months. This medium bodied wine has an aroma of melon and roasted almonds, with an attractive backing of vanilla flavors and a refreshing balancing acidity. It has an antelope on the label.
The Carmel Appellation Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown in the Galilee is aged 8 months in French oak barrels. It has a light yellow, translucent color. The aroma is deep and oakey with notes of butter, gooseberries and lemon. The flavor is light bodied with strong notes of apples, and an acidity that builds to the finish and leaves a fresh aftertaste.
