Cesari’s introduction into the appellation is produced from vineyards scattered throughout the historic Classico area of the Valpolicella appellation. Smooth and dry on the palate, this well-balanced, fruit-forward red offers a fresh bouquet of wild berries with floral undertones. On the nose, the typical notes of raisined fruit and cherry flavors are dominant. Mild hints of vanilla and spice are present as well. Elegant and warm with a velvety mouthfeel. Incredibly long, persistent finish that lingers on the palate. Amarone ages gracefully for upwards of 10 years if stored properly.
Fresh and fruity with fragrance of wild berries. The wine is dry, velvety and well balanced.
It goes perfectly with many kinds of food such as pasta, grilled or roasted red meat, medium ripe cheese.
