Family property acquired in 1940, the Castle of Maltroye with its glazed tile roof of the 18th century is located on the top of the village. It has beautiful vaulted cellars of the 15th century.The Estate is composed of 13 hectares of Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay on 2 Ha. Production of about 60,000 bottles a year; 60% white (Chardonnay), 40% red (Pinot Noir), 70% of the first wines among the most prestigious of the village.
Firm, elegant lime nose – very stylish. Quite rich, creamy and full-bodied in the mouth but not heavy. The saline mid-palate has vigour and length.
