James Suckling 91 points - I like the leaf and crushed-berry aromas with hints of wet earth. Medium body, fresh and firm tannins and a savory finish. Drink now..November/2017
eRobertParker.com 87 points - The 2014 Moulin a Vent from Chateau des Jacques has an agreeable, rather warm and rounded bouquet with plump redcurrant and crushed strawberry fruit, a hint of over-ripe satsuma in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet red cherries and strawberry mingling with a pleasant balsamic note that gives it an edge. It is not a complex Moulin-a-Vent and might miss some typicite, but you would also easily finish the bottle without complaint..Neal Martin, August/2016
Dark blue/red color. A mixture of berries and oak on the nose. After a while scents of red cherries, forest raspberries, blueberries, herbs, smoky juniper berries and licorice can be discovered.
Also red cherries, cinnamon on the palate with high acidity. Deep opaque black crimson red, rich fruit driven on the nose, ripe pure fruit forward with flavors reminiscent of plum & black cherry.
Simple easy drinking with simple acidity.
