Yum. Spice, spice and more spice. Raspberry, cedar, black tea, and of course more spice. Lovely smooth and sexy. Excellent balance and depth. Yum. Still pulled out rather purple. Still slightly Fruity without any of that nasty metallic after taste you sometimes get with old Bordeaux. Lovely.
This was a treat-times-ten! Multidimensional structure of cassis, licorice, light spices and a touch of mint interlaced with dark fruits, boysenberry and cherry.
Please note, the fruit was very much the supporting role here but added the sweet to the other scents, drawing them together. Structure was large, bold and rounded with silky tannins.
