Deep ruby in color, with on the nose ripe strawberries, blackberries and currants, as well as a hint of loamy earth and coffee. Medium-bodied, with a silky, pure and clean texture. On the palate tart red and black berry fruit, a touch of earthy minerals, graphite, coffee, lead pencil, tobacco with medium-plus acidity, roasted espresso as well as searing tannins coating the mouth on the moderately long finish.
