The nose comprises a layer of black cherries, blackcurrant and charred oak while revealing anise and cinnamon. The palate is grippy and quite dry throughout, it's missing a component of fruit on the palate. Such is the terrible ways of the 11' vintage.
Flavors of sour cherries, currants, plums, recurring cinnamon, anise and wood spice intermixed with graphite. Bone dry finish in the form of tannins and a grainy texture.
