Chateau Vieux Pourret Saint-Emilion 2012 |
Certified in biodynamic agriculture, Château Vieux Pourret and its 6 ha vineyard is defined as a craft estate, located in the heart of the village of Saint-Emilion. Raised in barrels for a year, the wine is made in the purest Bordeaux tradition. Emmanuel Coudroy has elaborated a fruity wine with a melted and elegant mouth, really worthy of a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru.
In search of a harmony with nature, the works of the soil and the plant are linked to a lunar calendar. This crop is free of "cide" products (herbicide, pesticide, fungicide). To produce clusters of live grapes, the head of culture Jean-Philippe Turtaut, with his natural preparations, is placed in companion of the plant, to strengthen its autonomy and help him to draw and extract the best of this soil of Saint -Emilion. These grapes are the basis of an invigorating wine that, through a traditional winemaking process, assures you a blend of merlot and cabernet franc that keeps its promises.
A wine to your health! It is the first vineyard of Saint-Emilion in biodynamic agriculture, labeled Demeter.
