Fresh and full, smooth and round, this 100% Pinot Grigio has great complexity and refinement. Enjoy this with white meats, dinner salads and fish.
Conti Formentini’s wine making history goes back to the early sixteenth century, yet Conti Formentini looks ahead and strives to marry tradition with innovation by making wines with a great regional typicity (without blending of grape varieties) but with a clean contemporary and modern style. The grapes for Conti Formentini Pinot Grigio are harvested from selected vines that grow on well-ventilated hills between 200 and 250 metres above sea level in San Floriano, or in small percentages in the communes of Oslavia and Zegla.
The Pinot Grigio is a bright golden yellow color. On the nose it has an ample and pervasive perfume with an engaging fragrance of wild honey, walnut husks and dry flowers. On the palate it is dry, smooth, creamy and fresh with an elegant very persistent finish of Kaiser pears and ripe yellow flesh fruit.
