Dense, old vine flavors of cassis and black fruit offset by refined mineral, liquorice and tobacco notes lead into this wine's layered, complex palate which is supported by a firm, focused backbone of sweet, ripe tannins and an elegant, balanced acidity on the extended finish.
Harvesting is manual in crates. After a demanding sorting, the winemaking process is carried out on a plot basis in the new gravity cellar with 72 stainless steel thermoregulated vats of 19 to 155 hl. All the operations are carried out without any pumping and by gravity by means of 4 tanks of lift of 100 hl. Only parcels older than 20 years are used for the great wine. The aging of 18 months is conducted in oak barrels (about 80% new).
