Pure black cherry aromas. Light to medium weight, but rising sap mid-palate. Complicated by spice and anise, firm back end structure, but this is surprisingly round and without any sharp edges for a 2013. Fine and subtle without any trace of the wood that often marked these Anne Gros wines in the past.
Dark in color and very perfumed. Just amazingly engaging on the nose. Raspberry, gorgeous fruit tones. Palate is so soft and supple, good to start the morning with Echezeaux.
