The most famous of all Portuguese table wines, Vinho Verde is the biggest DOC of Portugal. Grown in the cooler, rainier terrains of the North, these lovely fresh young wines are characterized by low alcohol content, high acidity and a hint of effervescence.
For a more sophisticated flavor, try an Alvarinho. Grown in a warmer, drier climate, this is one of Portugal’s finest grapes. Fuller and more complex than their Vinho Verde cousins, these harmonious whites are nonetheless perfectly crisp and deliciously refreshing.

This wine is made from grapes of the Loureiro, Trajadura and Arinto grape varieties produced in the Vinhos Verdes region. The grapes are carefully crushed and fermented at controlled temperature in our wine cellar in Amarante. The result is a citrus-colored wine with a shiny appearance and a slight effervescence.
It's made from three grapes you've likely never heard of: Avesso, Azal, and Pedernã, all hyperlocal to the small Minho region in Portugal that produces them. It's low in alcohol (9.5 percent), so think about picking up a few bottles.
Fâmega Vinho Verde Branco is a young wine with delicate mineral and fruity aroma. It is a balanced and quite versatile wine that can be consumed at all times both as an aperitif and to accompany any meal. Salads, seafood, fish, spring vegetables and fresh fruit. They can also balance out richer, fattier foods.
