This wine is a supreme expression of the indigenous Sicilian grape variety par excellence cultivated on the white stony soils of Fuego's gentle hills. The climate conditions and the particular terroir give this Nero d'Avolas unique and unmistakable personality marked by intense scents of morello cherries combined with spicy notes as well as a full and well structured flavor.
Colour: A brilliant, fairly deep ruby-red. Bouquet: Broad and persistent, in which one finds, apart from almond blossom notes, intense spicy hints. Flavour: Dry, well-structured and extremely rounded, it offers very complex fruit flavors on the palate. These are reminiscent of cherries preserved in brandy, mingled with a very appealing spiciness that lingers on the finish. Food Pairing: Delicious with richly-flavored dishes, barbecued meats and fairly aged cheeses.
