A deep and expressive varietal with spicy notes, blackberries, pepper and chocolate. Of concentrated tannin structure with good intensity and long finish.
Vineyards: By the Andes, altitude 4000 feet. Rocky soil of loose structure. Parcel selection, pruning, irrigation and clusters handling to obtain low yields and high quality grapes.
Vinification: Harvest exclusively by hand by April. Grape cluster selection (sorting table). Tank placement by gravity. Previous cold maceration at low temperature. Fermentation through selected yeasts at controlled temperatures.
Ageing: 3 to 4 months in French and American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Deep red color with black fruit hues. Great aromatic intensity. Black currant and raspberry stand out with interesting eucaliptus and mint hints. In the mouth, it shows firm and voluminous tannins of great balance and concentration.
