Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Plata |
A white sotol, made in Mexico from Desert Spoon in a similar manner to tequila, produced by Hacienda de Chihuahua in the north of the country. It's a clean tasting and crisp example of this rarely exported spirit.
Extremely smooth and fresh, this award winning spirit offers the fullest wild agavacea taste and complexity that differentiates it from any other beverage of its kind.
Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Plata is made from 100% wild-harvested Dasylirion plants in the Chihuahuan Desert of Northern Mexico.

My favorite Sotal; 100% perfection.
If I had to pick between Mezcal, Tequila, and this Sotal, I would always pick this. It's my favorite Agave plant. It's actually fresh and refreshing, light, but filled with the soul of the plant. There certainly are spirits in that bottle, take you way beyond any other drink of its kind. I think this is either wildcrafted or organic. I used to get at Wine and More and they don't carry it anymore. Of the three: Hacienda De Chihuahua Reposado Sotol Plata , Hacienda De Chihuahua Sotol Anejo, and Hacienda De Chihuahua Sotal, Reposata, I like Blanco (Silver) which I think is aged the least, and the least expensive of the three.
