The wine shows aromas of blackcurrant. native violets and mint on the nose. Very generous on the palate with plenty of blackberry fruit, licorice and graphite. The finish is supple and creamy with long, fine tannins.
An elegant red, with plenty of dark fruit smells and flavours, but also some delicate spice and florals in the mix. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with a core of sweet and dark fruits, a decent lick of toasted cedar from the oak, fine-grained tannins and a dry, fruity, velvety finish. Great with some spicy lamb chops.
