This wine is ideally served at room temperature with roasted pork and a variety of red meats. This is an aromatic wine, showing fresh blueberry, fragrant violet and underlying earthy spice notes. The palate is finely structured showing delicacy; vibrant rhubarb and blueberry characters are mixed with hints of anise and lavender. The flavours lingers and the wine finishes with delicate fine tannins.
Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson purple hue. Ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberry aromas combine over a background of vanillin confectionary and subtle toasty oak. Medium to full bodied, rich, texturally rounded flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum are to the fore followed by some lightly toasted vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
