Juan Gil, Honoro Vera Merlot - How Merlot should taste! Ripe, rounded and satisfying; from the superlative Jaun Gil winery in Jumilla.
“(All stainless steel) Ruby-red. Powerful, spice-tinged black and blue fruit aromas are complicated by licorice candy and violet nuances. Lush and broad in the mouth; juicy acidity adds an energizing kick to sweet blueberry and cherry liqueur flavors. Finishes supple and quite long, showing very good clarity and gentle tannins that come on late. There's superb value here.
