Selection Öküzgözü-Boğazkere is first produced in honor of the 60th anniversary of Kavaklıdere Wines in 1987. It combines the richness and the elegance of Öküzgözü with the full-body of Boğazkere. Since then Selection brand has been considered as the rising value of Anatolian wine production. It is best served at 18-19° C and matches perfectly with spicy sauced red meat dishes, T-bone steak, spagetti Carbonara and hard yellow cheeses.
A harmonios blend of two Turkish indigenous grapes, the colour is boudeaux with ruby tints. A full bodied palate with long persistent flavours and strong ripe tannis.
It's dark ruby. Mature and dry fruit and spice tones are on the front planet, and on the palate, Öküzgözü's signature is the mürdümeri and the land associations are evident from Boğazkere. It is solid, solid, full of red. Their tannins are strong but refined. Must be sipped by transferring the head in 2-3 years.
