Unrelated to 'true' Syrah, Petite Sirah makes excellent wine in California and here in Mexico. A medley of fruit character from red currants to blueberries. Silky, velvety tannins, nice concentration and weight. This spicy red wine tastes like it comes from a warmer climate. It's very intense in fruit compote flavors and viscous in texture. Pairs well with grilled foods.
From the biggest winery in Mexico, founded in 1975, this is a longstanding Vintages customer favourite, beloved for its value and for the consistency and depth of rich dark fruit, spice, leather and smoke it delivers. It's always a telling example of how well Petite Sirah shines in Baja California. Enjoy with meaty pizzas, a grilled steak or burgers.
