le Pigeoulet En Provence Vaucluse Blanc 2016
NOSE: M+ rich ripe strawberry & cherry, jam notes, violets, earth, garrigue and a hint of black pepper and smoke.
PALATE: M body, ripe strawberry & cherry jam entry, braced with M- acidity to lift the fruit, finishes with dark fruit, floral and a touch of spice. Stood up well to a southwestern spicy stew, would pair well with roasted/grilled meats and earthy dishes. A well executed KLWM wine!
It's a sea of cement with waves of red wine glasses and tipsy smiles on familiar faces.
This is a lovely little thing! Ripe strawberries, red cherry, violets, scorched earth, and phenomenal acid on the finish.
I am extremely surprised by the full body of this wine! For whatever reason I picture washboard abs and a flashy smile!
